History of Chinese Immigrants can be divided in to two parts: first wave started at 1850s, and the second wave started at 1970s. During these two periods, Chinese labors played an important role in rail road constructing, agriculture and garment industry, but mostly they worked as manual labors. In 21th century, Chinese ethnic group is the third-largest foreign-born groups in United States after Mexicans and Indians.
